240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 for Grade 1

The First 240 in 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1
Every educated person’s vocabulary began as a few hundred words for the things in reach. 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 chooses a beginner’s few hundred with a teacher’s care.
Naming the World
Lessons move through the child’s environment — home, school, park, body, weather — attaching firm words to familiar things. 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 makes the world more nameable, and a nameable world is a thinkable one.
Confidence before Curriculum
Each small lesson ends in certain success, because at six the belief “I can learn words” is worth more than any ten words. Schools starting the series with 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 are really starting with that belief.
240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 for Story Time
Its lessons pair naturally with story time — learn the words, then meet them in tonight’s tale. 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 1 turns listening into a treasure hunt children win nightly.
The series climbs to grade 6 in 240 Vocabulary Words Kids Need to Know Book 6.
